This book, written by Dr. Nick Dubin, unpacks anxiety within the world of Asperger Syndrome. A psychologist and Aspie, Dr. Dubin does a careful examination of how anxiety affects the body and mind, why Aspies have difficulty dealing with it, and ways that the Aspie can better deal with anxiety.

Although I have not finished reading the book, I will tell you a little bit about it. Dr. Dubin is very detailed when it comes to the psychology of anxiety; he talks about how it affects the body, the parts of the brain involved (including theories on the structure of the brain), and cognitive behavioral therapy. However, he is easy to read and understand, not getting the reader tangled up in psychological jargon. This book offers practical solutions for the practical problem of anxiety, which looms even larger for Aspies because of our more sensitive nervous systems and a lower tolerance for stress and frustration.
